**Key Responsibilities**:

- Staff Management: Hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance.
- Budgeting: Managing the restaurant's finances and controlling costs.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensuring the restaurant complies with health and safety regulations.
- Customer Service: Maintaining a welcoming atmosphere and responding to customer complaints.
- Inventory Management: Overseeing inventory to ensure the kitchen is stocked.
- Menu Planning: Developing new menus and updating existing ones.
- Marketing: Planning and developing a marketing strategy for the restaurant.
- Financial Health: Ensuring the restaurant's financial health.
- Business Goals: Setting business goals and implementing strategies to achieve them.
- Sales Trends: Analyzing sales trends.
- Day-to-Day Challenges: Resolving day-to-day challenges.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar managerial role.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team of 20 staff members.
- Proficiency in budget management and financial analysis.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Creativity and innovation in menu planning and marketing strategies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle day-to-day challenges.
- Valid Matric Certificate.
- Clear criminal record.
