Purpose of the Role
Senior Consultants are trusted experts in teams, with significant skills and experience already under their belts. A big “step up” from Consultant, Senior Consultants operate far more independently, with an expectation of high levels of competence and confidence on solutions in the team and in front of clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Builds client satisfaction: Fully capable client leaders on a project basis. Lead from a position of credible expertise in their practice, as well as deep knowledge and leadership of content, becoming “go to” people for clients in project mode.
- Farms our existing clients: Gets to know clients intimately on projects, helping establish relationships and mine issues to contribute to clients. s.
- Creates new client relationships: Delivers concrete hooks and opens new relationships.
- Responsible for business Key Performance Indicators :Has a deep business insight and understanding of KPIs and P&L (for example, revenue, margin, NP) and how projects fit in to the broader picture. Actively contributes to driving the total business strategy.- Responsible for project KPIs: Supports the Consultants in delivering commercially focused projects and outcomes.- Responsible for personal KPIs: Drives the utilisation of their own time on projects, new business & organisational projects.
The skills & experience you’ll need
- Bachelor's Degree Qualification in a related field
- Expert sales & marketing talents with 4-6 years relevant experience in the workplace, and a proven record of capability and success in the work we do.
- These are experienced talents who have moved up after mastering the Consultant role, or have gained significant experience in roles outside Kantar and are ready to move into Consulting.
- Interest in and knowledge of market dynamics of demand.
- Analytical, logical, good with numbers. Leads complex and unfamiliar data sources well.
- Attention to detail.
- Experience in retail, trade marketing, sales and/or quantitative research and/or commercial marketing.
