**Role Purpose**

The Event & Project Security Manager will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of security operations for events and project-based assignments, ensuring the safety of people, assets, and infrastructure in line with client requirements, contractual obligations, and regulatory standards.

**Minimum Experience Requirements**
- **At least ten (10) years’ combined experience** in:

- Event security management
- Project security services
- Operational planning and execution
- Proven experience managing **dedicated multidisciplinary teams** across multiple events or project sites.
- Demonstrable experience delivering security services for:

- Public and private events
- Construction and infrastructure projects
- High-risk or high-profile environments

**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan, manage, and oversee end-to-end security operations for events and projects.
- Conduct risk assessments, threat analyses, and site surveys prior to deployment.
- Develop and implement event and project security plans, including access control, crowd management, and emergency response.
- Lead, supervise, and coordinate dedicated security teams, ensuring optimal staffing and performance.
- Liaise with clients, event organisers, project managers, SAPS, emergency services, and local authorities.
- Ensure full compliance with:

- PSIRA regulations
- Occupational Health & Safety Act
- Client-specific security protocols
- Monitor operations in real time and implement incident management and escalation procedures.
- Compile post-event and project completion reports, including incident logs and performance reviews.
- Ensure discipline, professionalism, and adherence to company standards at all times.

**Required Qualifications & Certifications**
- Grade 12 (Matric) - Essential
- Valid PSIRA Grade A registration - Mandatory
- Additional qualifications in:

- Security Management
- Risk Management
- Event Management or Project Management (advantageous)
- Valid driver’s licence
- Firearm competency (where applicable)

- High-level communication and stakeholder management
- Incident command and decision-making under pressure
- Conflict management and crowd control expertise
- High ethical standards and professional integrity
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and public holidays as required
