**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Welcome guest and seat them
- Informs guests about the special items for the day and menu changes if any
- Obtaining revenues, issuing receipts, accepting payments, returning the change
- Place orders on the POS system
- Co - ordinate with kitchen staff, bar staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction
- Properly open and pour wine for the guests
- Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently
- Understands and can communicate about the products available
- Flexible working hours as well as available to work weekends and Public holidays as per operational requirements
- Required to work rostered shifts and irregular hours as per operational requirements

**EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- High school or equivalent education
- Min of 1 years’ experience in a restaurant
- Excellent communication skills
- Upselling Skills

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
