Ecowize is currently seeking x4 dependable and motivated **General Workers** to join our Products Division in Montague Gardens, Cape Town. The role supports the manufacturing process by performing a range of manual and semi-skilled duties including container cleaning, raw material weighing and staging, labelling, decanting, forklift operation, and general housekeeping.

**Description**

**Responsibilities**
- Clean and inspect returned containers, remove labels and ensure rinse water meets specification.
- Prepare containers by derusting and checking for damage or leaks prior to reuse.
- Pick correct raw materials, weigh them accurately, label, and palletize for production.
- Assist with loading and unloading of blending vessels under supervision.
- Decant bulk materials into designated packaging according to instructions.
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently (where licensed).
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, workstations, and equipment.
- Support waste handling, basic cleaning of machines, and other general factory duties.
- Follow safety protocols, hygiene standards, and GMP requirements at all times.
- Demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and a willingness to assist where needed.
- Grade 10
- Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in a factory or manufacturing environment
- Basic understanding of weighing equipment and material handling
- Ability to follow instructions and safety signage
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour and factory working conditions
- Experience in the chemical industry will be an advantage
