**Job Purpose**

One of our client is looking for Software tester for a period of 6 months To start asap. Hybrid environment, between, office, customer site and home.Responsible for creating and updating automated scripts required to run automated regression testing process. Responsible for debugging results and maintaining existing scripts. Assists with analysis of test results.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

Designing test scenarios for software usability, running these tests, and preparing reports on the effectiveness and defects to the team
- Prepared to travel on short notice
- Relationship Management with internal and external clients & suppliers/OEM
- Participate in operational meetings or projects as required
- Product info sessions and guidance sessions
- Quality Assurance: Ensure strict adherence to business policies, processes and procedures
- Assist with site specific documentation in order to ensure that it is updated, accurate and conforms to AMS’s standards
- Information security
- Quality assurance
- Reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios.
- Executing tests on software usability.
- Analyzing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability.
- Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the design team.
- Interacting with clients to understand product requirements.
- Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.

**QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS**:

- B.Sc Degree in Computer Science (or other IT related Degree)

**Professional Qualifications**
- ISTQB

**Years of Experience**
- 1-3 years’ experience in Banking environment
- 2-3 years’ experience in Testing environment
- Understanding of self-service environment and financial banking systems

**Technical Skills (Other Requirements)**
- Desktop PC hardware
- MS Office skills
- XFS knowledge advantageous
- Business & Financial Acumen
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
- Experience in project management and QA methodology
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
- Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. qTest, Zephyr) and SQL
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
- Strong organizational skills
- JIRA Selenium, HPE, SOAP UI, QTP

**Salary**: R14,958.48 - R45,354.11 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Midrand, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
