**Vacancy: Software Test Manager**

**Location: Midrand**

**Reporting: Group Chief Information Officer**

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and procedures for software testing activities - Lead a team of software testers, assign tasks, and provide guidance and mentorship
- Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions to ensure testers are up-to-date on testing methodologies and best practices
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of testing activities
- Work closely with software developers and project managers to ensure testing requirements are understood and met
- Coordinate with external testing partners to ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Analyze test results and provide recommendations for improving software quality
- Report on testing progress, defects, and risk assessments to senior management
- Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices - Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
