**_ Position Purpose:_**

**_ Position outputs:_**
- Conduct background checks and verifications on all prospective employees
- Collate and analyse checks
- Conduct vetting investigations
- Provide inputs for the development and implementation of policies, guidelines, norms & standards in vetting investigations.
- Administer vetting files and reports.
- Partake in task teams dealing with matters relating to vetting projects/processes.
- Render administrative support services
- Communication with internal and external clients such as the State Security Agency, South African Police Service and the
South African National Defence Force
**_ Qualifications & Experience:_**
- NQF 7 in Political Science, Social Science, Economics, Journalism, Law
- Completion of a vetting investigations course as offered by SANDF/SSA/SAPS
- 5 years’ experience operational experience in Security environment, preferably vetting investigations
