**Main Duties / Key responsibilities**:

- Correctly process all customer quotations, Sales Orders, Invoices and credit notes
- Stay up to date with Stock levels at suppliers and offer alternative options if stocks are low
- Up sell and cross sell flooring accessories and consumables
- Communicate effectively with colleagues
- Follow up on outstanding quotations
- Provide prompt and timeous response to customers regarding quotations, orders and deliveries.
- Responsible for individual sales targets
- Handling and resolving customer queries regarding a product or service
- Ensure installations and deliveries is correctly organized as per customer requirements and that it is correctly charged where applicable
- Ensure that system is always correct as per customer database
- Ownership and resolution of sales related issues
- Act as the single point of contact for customers
- Remain up-to-date with product knowledge and trends in Flooring industry and general business.
- Sales Representatives administration**Inherent Requirements**
- Grade 12 and experience in retail environment, Hardware and Flooring sales will be an advantage.
- Basic Computer skills
- Working knowledge on basic Excel. Word and Outlook
- A Valid driver’s license
- Be familiar and have the ability to use tools including power tools such as a drill.
- Physical abilities must include being able to carry stock. Assisting with receiving stock and loading customers’ orders.
- Knowledge in floor covering market would be advantageous.
