**Job Title: Drop Safe Technician**

The Drop Safe Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and servicing of drop safes used in commercial and retail environments.

This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of security systems.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install, maintain, and repair drop safes, ensuring proper functionality.
- Conduct inspections of safes to identify potential issues and provide timely maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with mechanical and electronic components of drop safes.
- Perform routine servicing, including reprogramming of electronic locks, battery replacement, and recalibration of mechanisms.
- Provide emergency response and support for malfunctioning drop safes.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations.
- Document all service work performed, including repairs, part replacements, and maintenance schedules.
- Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies for service calls.
- Educate clients on safe usage and maintenance practices.
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in security technologies related to drop safes.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in locksmithing, electronics, or related fields preferred.
- Proven experience with mechanical and electronic security systems, especially drop safes or similar equipment.
- Strong understanding of drop safe mechanisms, locks, and electronic systems.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to be on-call for emergency service requests.
- Ability to work in various environments, including retail, commercial, and industrial locations.

**Working Conditions**:

- Full-time position.
- May require weekend or after-hours work for emergency calls.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments.
- Frequent travel to client locations for service calls.
