**Overview and Key Responsibilities**:
The Technician will be responsible for performing installation and maintenance activities effectively, efficiently, and safely. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Executing planned and unplanned maintenance activities as directed.
- Assisting with the execution of identified project activities as instructed.
- Reporting on maintenance, project, and safety activities performed.
- Supporting the implementation of required safety and departmental systems.
- Ensuring compliance with necessary safety systems and protocols.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Matric certificate with Maths and Science.
- Completed NTC 2 - 4 qualification or equivalent.
- Registered SAQCC Practitioner.
- Red Seal Trade Tested Artisan (preferably a Fitter).
- 3 to 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and computer literate.
- Valid unendorsed Code B driver’s license.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Availability for standby duties on weekends and public holidays as required.
