- _ Matric_
- _ Minimum 2-3 years of logistics operations experience_
- _ Import and Export of FCL/LCL/Airfreight/Road freight_
- _ Clearing How to process this with outsourced service providers for all modes_
- _ Transport - FCL / LCL / Airfreight_
- _ Warehousing - FCL / LCL / Airfreight_
- _ Must have a driver's license_
- _ Must be fluent in English_
- _ Operations experience within a shipping company will be an added advantage_

**_ Responsibilities:_**
- _ Book cargo with shipping lines or service providers_
- _ Coordinate, control, arrange and monitor the collection/ and deliveries and shipments of containers and manage this until the final destination._
- _ Control and Manage the Import/Export Process from the time vessel berths to delivery to the Client._
- _ Complete customs clearances, ensuring full compliance with any relevant regulations._
- _ Manage documentation flow. This includes bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices and certificates of origin, licences and permits._
- _ The Controller will book all movement of modes by sea freight, airfreight and road freight._
- _ Carry out any other reasonable instruction from management._
- _ Follow SOP._
- _ Provide sailing schedule to clients, book freight, advise cut-off time for SI and VGM, ascertain draft is correct and confirm final Bill._
- _ Ensure that all documentation received tallies and is correct._
- _ Prepare Shipping line releases._
- _ Inform Transporter of Shipment by sending through a delivery instruction_
- _ Generate status report to Client according to SOP/or as agreed to inform Client of progress_
- _ Monitor delivery with transporters and liaise with Clients_
- _ Monitor and ensure that containers are uplifted and turned in within the prescribed time_
- _ Ensure all 3rd party invoices are received and sent to the Finance department._
