To supervise the Claims Administrators within the Safrican Group business-reporting to the Claims manager
To ensure daily delivery of required outputs and targets
To manage quality output and ensure client satisfaction Qualifications Requirements
Matric
Tertiary Diploma or Degree (Completed)
RE 5/ RE 1/ Wealth Management
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a management/supervisory role.
Minimum 5 years’ Claims experience.
Computer Literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Customer service experience Working Requirements and Responsibilities
Meet service level agreements by aligning the team to the work output.
Conduct performance appraisals and manage performance.
Formulating claim decisions i.e. claims for authorisation, claims for repudiation, etc.
Monitor turnaround times within the department or team members.
Regular checks for claim documents faxed to other departments.
Ensuring that clear information is given to customers throughout the claim process.
Ensuring that customer claims are paid within the agreed company SLA.
Provide Claims reports and related Outputs on Daily, Weekly and Monthly Frequencies.
Reduce revenue leakage by reporting on any Risks, Double payments or Incorrect payments and implement corrective actions.
Ensure knowledge of and team adherence to Policyholder Protection Rules and the requirements of Treating Customers Fairly.
Ensure team is adequately upskilled, trained and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
