City of Cape Town Specialist - Supply Chain Management (CTS)
**Requirements**:

- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant administrative experience within

an SCM environment.
- Computer Literacy - MS Office Applications
- Must be able to work outside normal working hours during

event days
Key Performance Areas
- Supports the department through communication,

administrative and secretarial support.
- Maintain the departments document archiving and ensure

the uploading and availability of information.
- Maintaining the organisations stationery store and executing

all related requirements (e.g. issuing, ordering, stocktakes)
- Completing requisition orders to facilitate the replenishment

of items.
- Providing administrative and secretarial support to the bid

committees; including executing logístical arrangements,
collating and distribution of agendas and drafting of
minutes.
- Maintaining the CTS Supplier Database, including the

vetting of prospective suppliers, drafting of notices and
generation of reports and statistics when required.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and

external constituencies on all matters pertaining to SCM.
- Monitoring and tracking correspondence.
