**Job Description
- Plumber**

We are looking for an experienced Plumber who possesses that special combination of technical plumbing skills and knowledge. If you are a natural problem solver with a positive attitude and customer orientation, a qualified Plumber will be responsible for the installation and repair of pipes, fixtures, pumps, and drainage systems according to specifications and applicable codes throughout our facilities.

**Plumber Responsibilities**:

- Study and analyze blueprints and floor plans to understand the plumbing system and water supply system layout.
- Navigate the assembly and installation of pipes and tubes without interfering with existing infrastructure.
- Cutting openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
- Measure, cut, and bend pipe material.
- Assemble valves, fittings, tubes, and water system appliances.
- Maintain and repair all plumbing installations.
- Troubleshoot and fix issues relating to water supply lines.
- Repair and replace system issues such as clogged drains, faucet problems, and broken drainage lines.
- Work carefully to follow all current regulations for plumbing work to ensure that all installed systems pass inspections.
- Communicate well with team members and fellow employees.
- Carry out preventive maintenance tasks on all mechanical and plumbing equipment.

**Plumber Requirements**:

- Matric, GED certificate and drivers license
- Plumbing qualification advantageous
- 2+ years of experience as a plumber
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade
- Ability to read and follow blueprints and rough drawings
- Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted
- Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper
- Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Application knowledge of heating and ventilation systems as well as appliance
- Great physical condition
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

**Experience**:

- Plumbing: 2 years (preferred)
