**experience and qualifications**:

- Matric
- NQF5 banking diploma (advantage)
- English and one other language preferred
- 1 year collections experience (could be gained through learnership)
- **additional requirements**:

- Possess sound knowledge and understanding of the Insolvency & liquidation process;
- Able to Assess the asset position of the debtor, to ascertain the Bank’s recovery prospects, and threats
- identify best possible solutions to protect Bank’s interests
- Prepare and submit memorandum for authorisation to prove the banks claims
- Monitor creditors’ meetings to protect the Bank’s interest,
- Manage the optimal recovery on sale of security,
- Prepare memorandum for acceptance of offers/abandonment Advise Trustee/Liquidator of resolutions
- Prepare documentation regarding abandonment of assets Draft letter of consent to transfer fixed property
- Scrutinise Government Gazette report for publication on home loans exposure
- Scrutinise all L& D accounts to protect the Bank’s interest Lodge objection with Master of High Court in respect of discrepancies and infringement of Bank’s rights.
- Assist in legal recovery process including litigation matters arising from insolvent matters Collate all the relevant documents that are required for briefing the attorneys. Make necessary recommendations to line manager.
- Assist in making sure that appointed attorneys comply with the provisions of the SLA.
- Monitor finalisation of insolvency/liquidation process Recommend for nomination of Trustee/Liquidator
- Preferred Minimum Education
- Paralegal insolvencies
- Experience 3-5 years’ experience in the recoveries or debt collection/insolvency environment
- Critical Competencies - Financial Principles ; ability to negotiate, strong attention to detail
