An opportunity exists in the Tax Advisory Division of Mazars; an international professional services firm, based at Mazars House in beautiful Century City, Cape Town.

Your Why:
To perform and review tax calculations/reconciliations, and to compile appropriate reports / opinions / letters and other documents under the overall responsibility of the senior team members or partners; and to review reports / opinions / letters and other documents prepared by junior team members.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Prepare income tax and VAT calculations and reconciliations
- Prepare and write tax related reports / opinions / letters
- Prepare deferred tax calculations
- Conduct research relating to tax treatment of a variety of transactions
- Tax administration and dispute resolution
- Budget management in respect of client engagement
- Manage individual productivity
- Write articles and other client communication material
- Training and development
- Review of work

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3 years work experience Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Good knowledge of IFRS with a solid accounting or financial management background
- Accounting degree and a tax qualification (or studying towards such tax qualification)
- Computer literate - proficient in Excel, Word and Power Point
- English proficient
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
