Business Intelligence and Reporting Manager

The Business Intelligence and Reporting Manager will provide insights through the use of data and analytics to improve service to customers and from suppliers, and to improve operational efficiencies. To provide monthly/periodic financial/commercial reporting.

**Minimum Requirements**:
BCom Degree or equivalent NQF level 7 qualification

3-5 Years Business Intelligence/Data Analytics experience

2-3 Years Commercial/Financial reporting experience

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Strategy Implementation and Development of Business/Pricing Models**
- Implement operational strategies in line with business unit goals
- Assist with development and implementation of processes and procedures
- Develop and drive the use of key business KPI’s within all supply chain functions
- Setup and maintain business models/simulations to assist with strategic, tactical and operational supply chain decision making
- Develop product pricing models to optimise profit through correct pricing of goods, product mix, etc.

**Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Analysis**
- Implement, enhance and maintain proven BI and Data Analytics practices
- Translate business requirements into efficient and sustainable business intelligence solutions
- Transform data into actionable insights using the appropriate BI tools and systems
- Support supply chain continuous improvement projects with the required data analytics and reporting
- Respond to all queries, resolve all issues and escalate as and when necessary
- Manage information hygiene and data integrity and correct any errors that may arise

**Reporting and Administration**
- Collaborate with customers and Business Development to identify market trends and conduct scenario planning
- Provide Business Development and Supply/Demand Planning with insights from market research and analysis to improve customer service and manage supplier performance
- Engage with relevant stakeholders to identify business data and intelligence requirements and document these according to prescribed standards and methods
