Demonstrable strong data analysis and data mining skills (T-SQL, MDX, and DAX)

Strong data visualisation skills using Excel, SSRS & Power BI

Strong integration skills using SSIS

Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

Experience managing data warehouse and reporting infrastructure to help scale reporting needs while maintaining high-performance environment for reporting

Understanding of reporting and business intelligence best practices

In-depth knowledge and understanding of data governance best practice and project management best practice

Experience using Big Data tools (e.g. Kafka, data lakes, Python, R)

Experience in both cloud and on-prem data warehouses

Qualification

Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent

**Relevant degree, preferably in of the following**:
BScEng

BScStatics/Mathematics

BScComputerScience

BCom Finance with major in Statistics and Finance

MS Business Intelligence Certification

Experience

Have at least 2 years of managing a BI team

Proficient with Microsoft SQL, DAX, MDX, PowerBI & Excel

5 years’ experience in MS BI (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) and reporting

5 years’ experience in developing & managing data warehouses, data models, frameworks and reports

Gaming experience would be an added advantage

**Skills**:
Strong financial analysis and interpretation skills

Good business communication and presentation skills

Knowledge of relevant statistical and report writing software

Above average interpersonal skills

Between 5 - 7 Years
