- Ensure the effective utilisation of maintenance resources and allocation according to daily planned schedule and assigning tasks and targets with detailed information
- Monitor and manage daily production and investigate deviations from production targets and standards
- Ensure welding equipment and material is within the specific standards.
- Ensure the early identification of problem areas and ensuring corrective actions for any anomalies to ensure mínimal rework and non-conformances.
- Ensure adherence and compliance to preventative maintenance schedules
- Ensure all work is carried out to quality and specification requirements as per the ITP’s and QCP’s and that documentation is completed on time
- Ensure safety requirements of OHS Act and JT are compiled to
- Submit justification for new machinery to site manager for approval
- The effective management of staff in accordance with Company policies and procedures

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Matric/ N3
- Trade Test or Supervisory course
- 5 years in related technical field
- Mechanical fitter
- Boilermaker
- Knowledge about HP Piping Welding
