Sales Executive

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To Plan, direct and coordinate interventions and plans aimed at customer relations orientated sales and service within the designated area in order to maximise sales and profitability and ensure customer satisfaction.
**KEY OUTPUTS**:
- Forecasting, budgeting, and reporting
- Improved profitability of the business, by reducing costs, improving efficiency and maximising contributions by effective product category and sector management.
- Clarify and communicate vision, strategic goals, operational and departmental.
- Participate in functional planning process with accountability for implementation in own areas
- Coordinate the implementation of market management and growth strategies and programs.
- Managing operational plans, contracts and projects
- Ensuring compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements
- Develop strategic partnerships with customers, suppliers, internal and external stakeholders to improve business results
- Coordinate and monitor customer service delivery standards and value chain management.
- Gather and distribute strategic customer and competitor intelligence to required channels and departments.
- Drive strategies to ensure compliance with safety, health, and environment.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- A relevant Sales and Marketing or Commercial Qualification at tertiary or equivalent level
- Technical Tertiary qualification with 2-3 years experience
- Experience working in hygiene and cleaning services industry
**WORK EXPERIENCE**:
- 2-5 years technical sales experience in sales & Marketing environment
- Experience in hygiene/cleaning/pest control industry
**SKILLS OR ATTRIBUTES**:
- Expert negotiator
- High level of networking skills
- Plan, organise and control sales calls, maximise face-time and implement product strategy
- Business and Sales Knowledge
- CRM, sales planning and forecasting, and Pricing methodologies
- Product Knowledge
- Ability to manage forecasts, budgets, financials, etc.
- Problem-solving & trouble-shooting skills.
- Display the ability to work independently and autonomously
- Team player
- Understanding of how to develop and implement business and marketing strategies
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: Up to R25,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Durban, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Sales: 3 years (required)
- sales hygiene/pest control/cleaning: 3 years (required)
