**Job Description**:
The Project Manager will be responsible to manage the customized hygiene auditing and testing program of a large corporate client while at the same time maintaining full control of daily operations. Assist in developing solutions for SGS customers.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the entire operational process of hygiene and testing service delivery:
- Generate audits in online platform
- Manage local audit and testing schedulers
- Source, recruit and manage qualified resources.
- Scheduling of audits, testing and courier services
- Auditor approval and allocation
- Processing of audit pack and reports
- Delivery of final report to customer
- Ensure delivery of program in line with contract requirements
- Monitor the progress of the program and prepare status reports for client and Global project manager
- Report and resolve issues
- Problem solving
- Oversee local invoicing
- Assist with the budget in alignment with the business plan.
- Evaluation of all legal compliance audit documentation/files.
- Ensure a good level of internal control within the group.
- Evaluate and determine improvement criteria.
- Customer liaison and project management of the assigned projects.
- Development of relevant templates for use in managing the project.
- Ensure that project team members receive relevant communication on all changes and that internal training is conducted for all to ensure that they are informed of changes.
- Conduct research and implement systems to ensure that changes are identified and communicated with all relevant team members.
- All complaints and compliments are logged, investigated and feedback given to the client.
- React promptly to client enquiries and ensure service excellence.
**Qualifications**:
**Education**
- National Senior Certificate (Matric Grade 12)
- Relevant Diploma / Degree in Project Management and or Tertiary qualification in Food Science or related
**Experience**
- Minimum of 5 project management experience in food hygiene and safety business activities.
- Strong service industry background with small team involvement.
- Client liaison.
- Management of a procedures based on a formal management system, KPI driven operation.
- Auditing operations background advantageous.
