Our client, a prominent investment holding company operating in the FMCG industry, is looking for a **Financial Controller** to join their team in the **Plattekloof** area. This position will report directly to the Group Financial Manager.

**Key Areas of Responsibility**:

- Overseeing and preparing monthly management accounts
- Assistance with Cash flow forecasting systems and treasury management
- Assistance with Interim and Year-End reporting processes for the Group
- Preparation and consolidation of weekly and monthly sales forecasts for the Group
- Ad hoc assistance to the CFO and finance team
- Preparing/Assistance with internal reporting documents
- Preparation and assistance of quarterly reporting for internal board meetings
- Management of the CAPEX approval process
- Management of the SARS notifications in the group
- Assistance in budgeting processes
- Analyzing and reviewing financial data, detail investigations and identifying areas for investigation
- Liaise with banks, tax authorities, auditors, and other relevant external parties
- Management and upkeep of Prophix platform
- Ad-hoc assistance to the finance team, as required.

**Minimum Requirements**

**Qualifications**:

- Newly qualified CIMA or similar qualification

**Experience & Skills**:

- 3-5 years of experience
- Interest/knowledge in systems Prophix and Qlik is advantageous
- Able to support multiple work streams in the month-end close process

**Personal Profile: Proven Knowledge, skills and attitude**:

- Good knowledge of manufacturing (preferably food/beverage industry)
- Deadline driven, and results orientated
- Solid analytical and reporting abilities
- Presentation and computer skills (MS Office / ERP System)
- Must be able to work well in a team and build collaborative relationships within the Group
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Self-Motivated
- Seeks out opportunities to learn and develop.
- Takes initiative
- Good attention to detail
- Trustworthy
- Able to handle work pressure
- Must be able to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Drive continuous improvement in areas of responsibility
- Driver’s license and own transport

**Area**: Plattekloof

**Salary**: R40k - R50k p.m. (depending on experience)
