A global and multi-award-winning company involved in the design, development and manufacture of mechanical power transmission systems and motor control electronics is looking to expand their team. The ideal incumbent will be a vibrant individual with a technical qualification (e.g. mechanical/electrical diploma) with proven sales experience (minimum 5 years) in a similar industry, proficient in both Afrikaans and English.

**Position details**:
Type: Permanent
Reports to: Branch Manager

Job description / core competencies:
Sales and marketing of company products in his/her designated area.

Managing and maintaining current and new customer relations.

Sales experience of geared motors, drives, electrical motors and industrial gears.

Adhere to business ethics and company policy.

Able to reach sales targets, develop database of qualified leads and maintain accurate records of pricing, sales and activity reports.

Maximise all opportunities in the process of closing a sale.

Sell consultatively and make recommendations of proposals to clients.

Responsible for cost management by reducing credits.

**Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience**:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar industry with a proven record in sales.

South African citizen, proficient in both Afrikaans and English.

Minimum qualification: Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Diploma or technical qualification.

Sound knowledge of mechanical engineering calculations and theory.

Computer literacy in MS Office is essential.

SAP-CRM knowledge essential.

Workbench and Gear7.1 knowledge will be beneficial.
