**Job description**

As a Senior HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) Technician, your responsibilities and duties will include amongst others:
**BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES**:
Provide Supervisory role overseeing site management, client liaison, attend meetings with client and reporting.

Must be able to communicate clearly with client representative and management.

Day to day management of the team.

Ability to lead the team and and enforce teamwork & collaboration.

Conduct performance management, mentoring and coaching the team.

Make timely decisions about complex issues even when some information is missing.

**TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES**:
Overseeing and performing advanced HVAC maintenance, repair, and installation tasks at client site.

Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Use your expertise to diagnose complex problems and develop effective solutions.

Maintenance and Inspection: Perform planned routine maintenance tasks on HVAC systems to ensure their optimal performance.

Repair and Replacement: Repair or replace faulty or worn-out components, such as motors, fans, belts, compressors, thermostats, and control valves. Follow industry standards and manufacturer guidelines for repairs and replacements.

System Installation: Install new HVAC systems or retrofit existing systems. This involves reading and interpreting blueprints, selecting appropriate equipment, connecting ductwork, wiring controls, and ensuring proper system operation.

System Testing and Balancing: Conduct tests to verify the functionality and efficiency of HVAC systems.

Compliance and Safety: Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines when working with HVAC systems, including handling refrigerants properly, following electrical safety protocols, and maintaining proper ventilation and exhaust systems.

Documentation and Reporting: Keep detailed records of maintenance, repairs, installations, and inspections. Prepare reports on findings, recommendations, and completed tasks. Maintain an organized inventory of parts, tools, and equipment.

**Experience**:

- HVAC Maintenance: 5 years (required)

License/Certification:

- Trade Test (required)
- Do you have a valid Safe Handling Certificate? (required)
- Do you have a valid SAQCC card? (preferred)
