**Job description**
We are currently looking for an **Assistant Catering Manager** to be responsibly for running day to day catering operation, to be responsible for monitoring the quality of food and service.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Assist of managing of a unit.
- Assist in organising, preparing & co-ordinating.
- Assist in the Management of administration, finances, debtors, budgets, etc.
- Relationship building with the client and customers on a daily basis (essential)
- Stay abreast of latest food trends and best practices
**Skills and Competencies**
- Strong judgement and problem solving skills
- Excellent people skills
- Strong interpersonal and communicative skills (verbal and written)
- Flexibility with regards to working hours
- Weekly books and month end accounts
- Client service orientated
- Business management principles
- Fully computer literate
- Excellent food skills
**Qualifications**
- Matric/Grade 12
- Relevant Degree/Diploma or Certificate
