Job Specification (not totally inclusive)

Sourcing of goods and services as per specified requirement using tactical sourcing method;
Follow a three-quote system and an adjudication process for all purchases;
Understanding of vendor on-boarding procedures and material master data related requests;
Expedite orders as per expected delivery dates;
Ensure all outstanding orders are followed up on and closed off the system where applicable;
Provide weekly ageing report on open PR’s, PO’s and overdue orders;
Execute end-to-end RFI, RFP and RFQ processes according to Komatsu policies and procedures;
Execute end-to-end Open Tender processes;
Set up Contracts /Service Level Agreements with selected suppliers and manage monthly;
Price adjustment implementation according to Komatsu policies and procedures;
Maintain SAP pricing and sourcing master data according to the implemented sourcing strategies;
Implement and improve sourcing strategies to ensure cost and continuous improvement; and
Prepare monthly savings report.

Minimum Skills required

Grade 12;
Must have Tertiary qualification in Supply Management;
3-5 years’ experience in procurement of industrial commodities in manufacturing environment;
Must have working knowledge of contracts, RFx and BBBEE;
Computer literate in MS Office suit;
Must have SAP experience; and
Must have driver’s license and own transport

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills; and
Proven team player with ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships;
