JOB DESCRIPTION: To be responsible and accountable for the maintenance of a high level of standards in his/her respective department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the watering, weeding, blocking and sweeping in the department

Feeding of plants

Assisting with displays

Cleanliness of the rubbish bins

Trim and remove stock of low standards to be written off or discounted.

Maintenance of garden standards by planting plants in the gardens/pots

Removing of any obstacles in pathways i.e. hosepipes, trolleys etc.

Assisting customers with heavy objects or trolleys

Refer customer to the right section salesperson or information centre

Maintain good customer relations like smiling and greeting each customer

STAFF DEVELOPMENT:
Expected to be familiar with the Stodels Introduction Booklet, Customer Service Policy and the Code of Conduct as updated from time to time.

Expected to undergo job related training from time to time.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bergvliet, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- nursery assistant: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- English fluently (required)
