**Solar Company **in Cape Town is currently seeking an _**Electrician **_to join their team.

**Purpose of this role**:To install Solar PV and Back-up Systems.
- _**Permanent position**_
- _**Reports to Project Coordinator**_

**Salary and Minimum requirements**:

- R12 000.00 - R15 000.00
- Electrical qualifications (preferable)
- Drivers License with own reliable transport
- Available to start ASAP
- Experience in the solar industry (preferable)
- In depth knowledge of electrical and/or solar power installations_**.**_
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Afrikaans (written and verbal)
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work within a team
- Leadership abilities
- Reside in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town (preferable)
- Sober habits, non-smoker, good health
- Contactable references

**Responsibilities**:

- Installation of Solar PV and Back-up Systems at client sites
- Splitting of Distribution Board
- Connect solar panels, inverter and battery to building’s power supply
- Testing PV-related electrical wiring and systems to ensure compatibility and safety (when necessary)
- Ensure teamwork on site

**Salary**: R12,000.00 - R15,000.00 per month
