**Receptionist**
**Overview**: Attend to visitors' enquiries about the company and its products or services, directing visitors to their destinations, sorting and answering incoming calls. Utilizing organizational and interpersonal skills to form good working relationships with all employees and clients. Assists with ensuring that the office runs smoothly and efficiently and will be the “face” of Business.
**Reports to**: Creditors Manager
**Education and qualifications**:
- Matric / Grade 12
- 1 years Administrative Assistant and/or Receptionist experience
- Possess strong verbal and written communications skills
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Fluent in English (Xhosa and Afrikaans beneficial)
**Job functions / Duties**
- Operating the telephonic switch board to direct calls and take messages in a professional manner
- Manage entry points to the office in friendly and safe manner
- Courier admin
- Opening of new jobs (Job Register)
- Keep phone information spreadsheet up to date with all changes in contracts/phones
- General administration
- To perform any other functions over and above the ones listed as requested by Management
**Skill & Behavioral Characteristics**:
- Good interpersonal skills / relationship building
- A strong and proven ability to multi-task and prioritize issues
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- Patient
- Organizing / arranging / planning skills
- Not easily persuaded and act with decisiveness.
