The purpose of this position is to enable Learners to be trained and developed to become qualified Engineering Artisans

**Qualification Requirements**
- **Electricians**: Maths, Engineering Science, Industrial Electronics, Electrical trade Theory
- **Fitter including Machining**: Maths, Science, Fitter Trade Theory, Engineering Drawing
- **Plater Welder**: Maths, Science, Plater Theory, Plating and Structural Steel Drawings
- **Rigger Ropesman**: Maths, Science, Rigging Trade Theory, Engineering drawing
- **Instrument Mechanician**: Maths, Science, Industrial Electronics, Instrument Trade Theory
- **Millwright**: N6 / S4 Maths, Science, Fitter Trade Theory, Engineering Drawing, Industrial Electronics, Electrical Trade Theory

**Experience and Skills Requirements**
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Able to work under pressure
- Able to work as part of a team and individually
- Technical acumen
- A valid Driver’s Licence will be advantageous
- **Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Learners will be required to successfully complete a structured learnership training programme and must be prepared and willing to train and work in the training centre, metallurgical plants etc.
