**Job Purpose**

The purpose of the post is to fill a requirement for a Digital Forensic Analyst within the Digital Forensics team located in Woodmead, that we can develop further as a technical resource which forms part of the envisaged three-year roadmap to create a Centre of Excellence. It directly fills a gap that currently exists in the team.

We are looking for a Digital Forensics Analyst to join our Digital Forensics team who will assist in providing a Digital Forensics and corporate intelligence services e to local, regional and international clients and member firms.
- Acquisition of digital evidence in a forensically sound manner
- Conduct forensic examinations of digital and electronic media devices to include, but not limited to; computer hard drives, external drives, cell phones, network devices, information systems, online sources and any other devices that store and process digital media and electronically stored information.
- Adhere to legal frameworks, legislation and industry best practice.
- Liaise with business units, law enforcement and legal teams.
- Operation and maintenance of a digital forensics lab
- Execution of search and seizure orders.
- Prepare standard and special reports.
- Appear in court as a witness.
- Provides technical support for other units within the department.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Bachelor degree or equivalent in Computer Forensics ( 5 - 10 years experience)
- At least one current Industry Certification such as GCFE, GCFA, CHFI ( 3 - 5 years experience)
**Performance Agreement**
The performance agreement of the incumbent, which attributes specific targets to the above mentioned outputs would be developed and agreed SEPERATELY based on this Job Description
