**Job Advert**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Remuneration and Benefits Specialist within our Human Resources team who will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of remuneration and benefits processes across Ackermans. This role is responsible for providing advice and support to the business on the principles and frameworks that govern the total reward philosophy of Ackermans.
If you have 3-5 years experience in the reward field as a Specialist then this would be the ideal opportunity for you.
**Qualifications**:
**Essential**:
- Degree
**Preferred (In addition to a degree)**:
- Global Remuneration Practitioners (GRP) certification
- Accredited by the South African Reward Association (SARA) as a Reward Analyst or Remuneration Specialist

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, at all levels
- Proven ability to prioritize between multiple high-priority initiatives - results orientated
- Ability to create dynamic tools and models to interpret and analyze benefit and remuneration data
- Extremely strong analytical and quantitative skills with a high level of attention to detail
- High Levels of Computer literacy - advanced Excel
- Ability to project manage changes relating to benefits and remuneration practices/processes
- Ability to draft employee benefit proposals that considers impact on all stakeholders (Finance, HR, Culture, Employees, Payroll, Systems)
- Ability to diagnose problems, identify and drive appropriate solutions
- Strong teamwork skills in conjunction with utilizing your own initiative
- A natural inclination to seek the voice of your internal customers to improve the customer experience and end user outcomes
**EXPERIENCE**:
**Essential**:
- 3 years related experience in the reward field as a Specialist
**Preferred**:
- 5 years related experience in the reward field as a Specialist
- Experience building, managing and using Excel tools (Tax Calculators / HR Rem tools ect)
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Constantly researching and benchmarking our remuneration practices and benefit offerings and identify areas for enhancement
- Participate in various salary and benefits surveys
- Design and maintain remuneration tools
- Coordinate and manage the remuneration increase process and incentive schemes
- Coordinate and administer Job Grading
- Provide professional administration support to the various Ackermans retirement funds
- Ensure all remuneration and benefits practices comply with current legislation
- Analyse, review and update Ackermans remuneration and benefits policies
- Provide advisory support to all employees on matters pertaining to remuneration and benefits
- Responsible for monthly and adhoc reporting and analysis
