_**Position Overview**:_
- **Key Responsibilities**:_
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, reviewing and assisting the team
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
- Payroll - understanding of monthly salaries
- Monthly reconciliation of VAT and PAY
- Conduct bank reconciliations and manage cash flow.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Provide support during audits and tax preparation.
- Supervise junior bookkeeping staff and provide training as necessary.
- **Qualifications**:_
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred ).
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role, in a senior capacity.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g. Sage 300 and Microsoft Office Suite).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
