National Plumbing Company based in Johannesburg in need of a Dispatch Controller with a minimum of 3 - 4 years’ experience within the plumbing industry or a similar role. The role includes accountability, management. capable and knowledgeable of the following:
Planning deliveries including driver allocation and routes to ensure efficient utilisation of company resources

Devise ways to improve operational performance and report to top management

Implement systems to monitor driver efficiency

Monitoring and controlling costs factors influencing operational effectiveness

Developing and analysing methods to drive down labour costs of drivers

Set and monitor productivity, service and safety targets for each driver and route

Establish and control truck daily revenue goals, - explain variances

Communicating effectively with stores, sales and to the relevant parties regarding factors impacting deliveries and customer service.

Drawing up trip sheets

Enforcing discipline within dispatch department

Managing performance of staff in dispatch

Identifying training needs within department

Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety within the department

Loading vehicles and containers

Controller, monitor and updating tracker

Ensuring stock requirements for branches are met

Implementing stock control systems, monitoring and controlling stock at ranches

Mange local and branches fleets, liaising with the Technical Director where necessary including repairs and maintenance of vehicles

Develop systems and implement software to monitor and improve cost effectiveness

Perform any other work-related duties of a similar nature that may assigned to you from time to time

Accurate and timely submission accounts

Planning deliveries

Controlling and monitoring tracker

Loading containers and vehicles

Managing stock for branches

Fleet Management

**Education**:
Matric

Diploma / Certificate (Logistics Management)

MS Office (Word, Excel (Intermediate to Advanced), Outlook)

Syspro will be adv.

3-4 Years’ experience within a similar role

English & Zulu

Establish relationships with key customers

Must be an all-rounder - admin orientated, professional, reliable and presentable

Good verbal and written communication skills

Excellent planning and organizing skills

Must be a punctual and energetic team player and able to work independently

Excellent time management

Ability to work under pressure

Attention to detail

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R28,000.00 - R30,000.00 per month
