Brand Manager- Local Store

A position has become available in the Marketing Department at the Head Office, Cape Town for a Brand Manager
- Local Store.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Tertiary education, preferably in Marketing or Business qualifications
- 3-4 years of experience.
- Highly skilled in Fast paced administration role.
- Strict adherence to company philosophy/mission statement and being always a brand ambassador
- Confident in producing work across multiple platforms
- Goal-oriented, organised team player
- Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to multi-task, prioritise, and manage effectively
- Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent analytic and time-management skills
- Excellent organisational skills are a main requirement for Marketing assistant role

**Duties and Responsibilities**:**
Build Relationships**
- Communicate with Operations and Franchisees to understand what is required and what information is needed. This includes following each job trough from briefing stage to completion.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Franchisee and Operations and enhance communication between them and Group Marketing. Ensure consistent and accurate flow of information in both directions.
- Understand the brief objectives with each local store marketing initiative in order to deliver suitable advertising.

**Local store process**
- Arrange cost estimates and have them approved by the Franchisee before starting the production at any job.
- Facilitate the design and production of POS, adverting and any other marketing and advertising material for local store marketing initiative to deliver suitable advertising.
- Manage placement of adverts. Liaise with Advertising Agency and relevant media owners in this regard.
- Package and dispatch any marketing material kept at Head Office, or Spur décor to local stores when required.
- Review/ approval of social media content for restaurant on the Go Review / Go Social platforms.
- Assisting line management with all adhoc tasks to improve day to day running of local store marketing process.

**Internal Communication**:

- Close co-operations with Production Manager, Traffic Manager and Designers ensuring all briefs are submitted professionally, complete with all relevant information for the design/ traffic team to properly output the relevant task.
- Communicating with all relevant parties on whereabouts during office hours.
- Conducting regular update meetings with line management on all work input and output required.

**Brand
- General**:

- Invoices: to be checked, signed, coded, and submitted timeously to allow for payment process to proceed without any holdups from finance.
- Magnetic Briefing System : ensure effective use to brief all jobs/inquiries to studio/ production as well as ensuring that CE’s are requested and billed timeously. Before the end of the month.
- Client liaison: Follow ups to client within 2 days of submitting artwork and not obtaining confirmations/ approvals in order close/ finalise/ bill jobs accordingly.
- Operations: ensure an understanding of Spur operations to implement practical insights and learnings in all initiatives.
