Revit / Cad Technician

**Role**
The role of the CAD/Revit technician is a production and delivery role. You will be expected to be proficient in building modelling and draughting software.

**Key Responsibility**
You will be responsible for producing ‘as-built’ 2D drawings and 3D Revit models of buildings and their components/systems using point cloud data. Other responsibilities include area calculations and verification using custom built software.

**Tasks**
Your tasks as the CAD/Revit Technician will include:

- Keeping files organised.
- Keeping track of time spent on a project
- Working with others to complete tasks.
- Understanding the requirements of the project.
- Ability to produce phase 2 and phase 3 Core Stak deliverables.
- Reporting to the Team Lead and Project Manager on a day-to-day basis.
- Producing accurate 2D drawings and 3D models.
- Following the technical procedures and standards set out by the Company.
- Manage sensitive and confidential information.
- Demonstrate initiative, flexibility and a proactive approach to daily tasks.
- Notify the QC and Team Lead if there are any issues with the quality of the scan data.

**Knowledge, Skills and Training**
You should be comfortable in a fast-paced start-up environment, and demonstrate the following requirements:

- A focus on collaboration, teamwork and communication.
- Attention to detail.
- Effective communication.
- Proficiency in software used to produce technical deliverables.
- Thorough knowledge of the technical procedures and standards.
- Diploma or draughting certificate/qualification from a reputable institution.
- Proven work experience as a CAD/Revit technician.
