Our client specialises in large scale electrical installations for new property developments, shopping malls, factories, hotels and other complexes. They currently require a Project Manager to ensure the successful fulfillment of project goals and targets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan each project, including ordering of material, supervision and staffing.
- Provide advice to staff or colleagues when they have question or require a decision regarding respective site matters.
- Manage all activities taking place on all sites (attendance, grievances etc.)
- Plan, schedule, track and report on project delivery against targets.
- Develop and maintain operational business plans and budgets.
- Ensure that accurate project progress measurements are taken and submitted timeously for invoicing purposes.
- Overall responsibility for customer project management in liaison with the General Manager and Contract Manager.
- Ensure all site foremen are aware of the timeline of their coordinated projects and timelines and meet their deadlines with regards to their sites.
- Manage and coordinate all respective site foreman to their dedicated sites.
- Ensure all site foremen are correctly coordinated on correct projects
- Ensure site foreman are informed on all communication taking place with clients
- Reading and interpretation of electrical site plans (technical drawings).
- Ensure that projects are signed-off.
- Establish and monitor the on-going implementation of operational policies and procedures.
- Generate weekly and monthly operations reports, project status summaries and other management reports.

**Skills & Requirements**
- Must be based in or around Stellenbosch, or willing to relocate at own cost.
- Valid driver’s license (PDP would be advantageous).
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time, on spec and within budget.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
- Proven track record of completing high value projects.
- Proficient in the reading and interpretation of electrical site plans (technical drawings).
- Understanding the JBCC contract.
- Effective prioritisation and multi-tasking skills.
- Exceptional organisational and management skills.
- Resource planning and budgeting skills.
- Leadership skills and ability to motivate teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Must have experience in the electrical / construction industry.
- Tertiary education in the Electrical Field would be advantages.
- At least 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager or similar position.
- Experience in preparation of tenders.
- In-depth LV, MV & HV experience.
- Wireman’s license would be advantageous.
- Previous datacentre experience would be advantageous.
- Proven track record of managing sites of 10+ employees of various levels.
