As the business continues to grow, we’re looking for an efficient and proactive project manager to join the Consulting team. Reporting to the Head of Consulting, the Consulting Engagement Manager plays a dual role in delivering consulting engagements and driving business growth. This position will support in managing consulting projects, ensure high‑quality deliverables, and support the firm’s growth strategy through proposals, case studies, and targeted client outreach. This role is based in Project Blue’s Stellenbosch office and candidates must be able to be based here. Job Responsibilities Manage client projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and project requirements are met. Coordinate cross‑functional teams and track project performance. Ensure all reports and written deliverables meet high standards of accuracy, professionalism, and actionable insight. Business Development & Proposal Writing Draft proposals, RFP responses, and pitch materials. Develop case studies, success stories, and other thought leadership content. Collaborate with Head of Consulting to identify opportunities for client expansion. Strategic Growth Support targeted business development campaigns. Contribute to Project Blue’s knowledge base and market intelligence development. Job Requirements Three to five years of experience in commodity markets, across areas such as fundamental analysis, consulting, technical services, and / or financing or commercial activities. Strong English writing skills: proposals, case studies, thought leadership content. Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and pursue business opportunities. Familiarity with CRM tools, project management software, and business analytics a plus. Ideal Profile A hybrid professional who thrives in both client delivery and growth‑focused activities. Comfortable switching between hands‑on project execution and strategic, client‑facing business development.
