This Hygiene Product & Cleaning Equipment Distribution Leader are in the process of expanding their footprint & activities in South Africa. This dynamic Company requires a **Sales Representative **to build up, develop, retain, and grow their range of products and equipment. Only individuals who meet with the below minimum requirements of this position will be considered for further assessment. **Minimum Requirements**: - Matric or equivalent qualification - Minimum 3 years sales experience within the Food Services/Food Safety & Hygiene industry - Preference will be given to applicants with sound understanding & knowledge of Food Safety Systems - Existing client relationships and network contacts within the food processing, hospitality, fishing, health, automotive industries will be advantageous - Fully Bilingual (Afrikaans/English) Written & Verbal - Proof of Targets and actual achievements - Must be willing to travel within South Africa - Valid drivers licence & Own Reliable Transport **Key Performance Areas**: - Build and develop the market for the Brand within South Africa - Prospect and develop a pipeline through canvassing and networking initiatives to optimise exciting new business opportunities - Manage all negotiation and presentation processes within the sales cycle - Represent the client as a dedicated & committed Brand Ambassador to all relevant prospective & existing target markets - Drive various initiatives by "breaking into" new prospective markets - Manage onsite meetings within food production environments - Maintain and retain existing client base to ensure continuous influx of new orders - Manage all internal administrative processes and update accordingly on the in-house sales system - Work toward monthly/quarterly and annual targets - Communicate consistent updates and sales productivity status to management - Work towards company set targets - Report directly to the Sales Manager **Remuneration and Employment Offering Includes**: - Total Cost to Company Package = Basic + Car Allowance (Negotiable depending relevant experience, sales track record and qualifications) - Over and above Commission Structure - Monthly Fuel & Cell Phone Allowance - Laptop + 3G Data Card - Ongoing training and development initiatives - Strong Management Support
