**Objective**: The **Associate Benefit Specialist** is integral to our Total Rewards team, ensuring the effective administration of compensation and benefits programs and contributing to employee satisfaction and retention.

**Responsibilities**:

- Respond to remuneration inquiries during the employee onboarding process and internal transitions.
- Verify the accuracy of compensation and employee data.
- Support the implementation of salary adjustments and coordinate with the payroll department.
- Participate in annual Total Rewards operations, such as salary assessments, bonus distribution, and market salary comparisons.
- Manage requests for specialized remuneration services following directives from the Total Rewards Center of Excellence (COE).
- Prepare and distribute communications regarding updates to Total Rewards policies in collaboration with the Employee Engagement COE.
- Conduct job evaluations, market benchmarking, and internal salary equity assessments periodically or upon request.

**Qualifications**:

- A solid understanding of total rewards frameworks, HR and payroll systems
- Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
- Self-driven, capable of multitasking, and able to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
- Detail-oriented with a strong numerical aptitude.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and experienced with HRIS platforms like Workday.

**Education & Experience**:

- A minimum of one year’s experience in HR or Benefits Administration is preferred.
- Matric is required; additional certification in a related field is desirable.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R17 000,00 - R21 000,00 per month
