**POSISTION -CONTRACTS SPECIALIST**

**KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS**:

- Responsible for the management of all procurement processes related to Tenders/Bids
- Compilation and management of the contracts register for the organisation
- Review contracts and Service Level Agreements with the legal section
- Compliance to all relevant legislation and regulation in contract management
- Compile and submit reports on contracts management
- Ensure proper document management and handle all queries in relations to bids/contracts
- Provide monthly and annual projections of the organisations budget commitments in relation to all contracts
- Measure, analyse and manage supplier performance on contracts
- Review systems in place to prevent, detect and report irregular expenditure
- Engage with suppliers so as to ensure compliance to SCM requirements

Supervise and manage the Bid and Contracts Administration section

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Matric and a Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Supply Chain Management/Finance/ Accounting/Law or Administration. A Post Graduate qualification will be advantageous.
- A minimum of five years’ experience in a contracts management environment.****:

- Expertise with regards to contract management, procurement and development of systems, compliance issue, internal audit matters.****:

- Knowledge of the PFMA, PPPFA and other procurement legislation.****:

- Understanding of CIDB Regulations, BBBEE, National Treasury Regulations and all relevant Legislation
- Computer literate, MS Office and financial systems.****:

- High regards for ethics, excellent negotiation skills, decision making and conflict handling skills.
- Strong leader, team player and inter-personal relationship skills.****:

- Ability to work under pressure.***

Management skills, process and system orientated, proactive, output driven rational and logical.
