Job Purpose

Responsible for a range of treasury activities including but not limited to bank and ledger reconciliations, interests, capital, and expense payments, capturing of new deals, FICA and KYC, forecasting and reporting

Duties and responsibilities
- Ensure timeous payments of interest and capital on borrowings
- Confirmation of interest payments with lenders and bond interest calculations
- Upload all necessary transactions on the treasury system (IT2)
- Maintain and update the treasury system to ensure relevancy
- Ensure statutory trust (EAAB) requirements are met
- Manage the cash for Growthpoint Management Services, including making cash journal entries
- Arrange for bank guarantees for utility accounts and reconcile bank guarantees for municipalities and utilities
- Opening and closing of bank accounts, including all FICA requirements
- Do cash forecast for Growthpoint Management Services
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for subsidiaries.
- Capture Treasury invoices on Fraxion
- Sign off of creditors payments on Nicor
- Completion of BOP forms for Forex payments
- Assist with adhoc responsibilities as provided by the Group Treasurer, such as reporting and other administrative requirement

Experience
- 3- 5yrs in a treasury or finance environment
- 3- 5yrs experience in accounting preferable

**Qualifications**:

- B Com Accounting or relevant degree / certification
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
