Our client, and accounting firm in the Northern Suburbs is in need of an experienced Accounting Manager to join their team.

**Requirements**:
Tertiary qualification in accounting (University Degree or B. Tech Degree) - completed

Completed SAIPA articles - Still a member of SAIPA and doing CPD hours

6years' experience in an Accounting Firm of which 3 years in management

Proficient in MS Excel and Word

Proficient in Sage Pastel Partner, Sage Online, Xero, Draftworx, Intercode, E-filing

Must have the skill and ability to figure out new online accounting programs

Must be experienced in reviewing work of juniors and drive continues improvement

Must be experienced in driving efficiency and productivity at various levels in accounting practice

Must be experienced in working with various personalities and resolving conflict in a constructive manner

Must be experienced in having team meetings with team members reporting to him/her

Must be able to teach juniors various aspects of bookkeeping and accounting and update them on latest changes in VAT law and Tax law and SARS practices

Must be able to professionally interact with clients and drive client satisfaction

Good interpersonal / communication skills

Good planning and organising skills

Thoroughness and attention to detail

Accuracy is of utmost importance

Proactive with strong numerical ability and detail orientation

Ability to multi-task and being assertive

High standard of integrity

Ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment.

Ability to operate in a team environment.

Deadline driven and able to work independently without supervision

Excellent communication skills

Fluent in Afrikaans and English

Strong administrative skills
