Assistant Company Secretary

Our client in Somerset West is looking for a very professional assistant company secretary to join their dynamic team.
This will be a half day position
- KYC Documentation for bank
- Maintaining detail group schedules of companies
- Directors appointments/resignations
- Auditor and Registered Office changes
- Compiling of all Companies Resolutions/Minutes
- Maintaining Company Register and Minute Book
- Maintenance of statutory files
- Annual Returns - All companies
- Appointment/Resignation of Public Officer etc.
- Company structure organograms
- Responsible for FICA requirements
- Take notes or dictation at meetings and provide general assistance during meetings.
- Arrange meetings, take minutes and follow-up on action items
- Organise and maintain diaries and make appointments for the team
- Order stationery and other consumables
- File annual returns on CIPC
- Provide admin support, as necessary
- Assist the Company Secretary to set up board and committee meetings including the AGM (liaising with shareholder representatives) and any ad-hoc meetings that need to be set up for board, Exco or the Company Secretary.
- Put together meeting packs and distribute them to the meeting invitees.
- Maintaining the electronic and hard copy filing of all minutes, resolutions and declarations.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric with relevant degree or secretarial qualification
- minimum 4 years previous experience
- Business etiquette on an Executive level
- Previous experience in document formatting
- Strong company secretarial experience
- Strong MS Office Experience (Word, Excel & Power Point)
- Exposure to Diligent Board or similar
Salary R15 000 (half day position
