**ROLE PURPOSE**
The purpose and main function of the Innovation Lead role is to ensure adherence of Industry quality development of CRM System solutions as outlined by the Solution Leads and Architects and documented by the Organisation Analysts.

The Innovation Lead will be required to accurately build and code system solutions to ensure optimal usability of the acquired CRM and other systems and toolsets within the Organisation. There will be ongoing engagements with the Business Stakeholders and associated project teams to ensure accurate requirement interpretations and successful development roadmaps agreed and aligned to agreed and approved project timelines. The Innovation Lead must have a very good technical understanding of the technology stack of the Organisation and liaise effectively with the Business Leads to establish project estimations and feasibility of required solutions.

The Innovation Lead will be a key attributor to the final singed off Business Requirement Spec prepared by the Analyst from a Technical and systems readiness and feasibility perspective.

**ROLE REQUIREMENT**
- Key contributor to the technical system capabilities aligned to business strategy.
- System Development Life Cycle - System Developments tasks and deliverables
- Unit testing and Production Deployment
- Support Operational Teams on Multiple BMC toolsets (Helix ITSM, Remedy with Smart-IT, Single Sign On, Digital Workplace Advanced, Discovery and TrueSight)
- Direct impact on business performance
- Assume responsibility for the following:

- Assist in the functional design document; Business Requirement Specification and User Stories aligned to the technical solution of the said requirement
- Planning, execution, and deployment of developed solutions within the SDLC life
- Business Engagement during the AGILE project Life Cycle, ensuring development requirements remain on track and up to business purpose

**TECHNICAL / PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES**
- SQL and other coding technologies (JAVA; CSS
- Extensive working knowledge of CRM Applications: Oracle CRM, Microfocus, Remedy
- Extensive working knowledge of BMC Toolsets: Helix Remedy with Smart-IT, Helix ITSM, Helix Digital Workplace Advanced, Helix Discovery, BMC TrueSight
- MS Applications: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, OneNote
- Languages and others: C, C++, Java, HTML, CSS

- Data Base and System Integration
- Good understanding of Enterprise System Architecture
**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**
- Grade 12
- Bachelor’s degree / studying towards in information technology, computer science, or related field;
- 1-3 years systems development experience in an industry sector or environment that has technological complexity and is customer care / customer experience intensive. Significant understandings of customer need satisfaction in a high tech. environment
