**Job description**

Provides secure and timely driving services to make deliveries or collections on behalf of the company.

**Tasks related to this position include but are not limited to**:

- Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most convenient route
- Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions as needed
- Report road incidents
- Inspection of the truck before trip and after trip
- Report any defects
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Ensure load is secured properly prior to departure
- Populating a logbook/trio sheet for rest periods and kilometres driven
- Driver must assist with checking of goods when loaded and off loaded
- Ensure collection signed delivery notes after every delivering
- Valid Code14 License with PDP and DG

**Qualifications and competencies required**:

- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Super-link Truck Experience: 5 years (required)
- PDP and Code 14 driver’s license (required)
- Dangerous Goods Permit
- Good Communication
- Ability to use electronic equipment-GPS

Pay: From R9 500,00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Centurion, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

License/Certification:

- code 14 license with PdP (required)
- A minimum of 5 years Code 14 driving experience. (required)
