**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct Health and Safety inductions and all statutory Health and safety training with employees, contractors and visitors and liaise with HR to identify and plan training for all personnel related to compliance and HSE
- Conduct internal audits, workplace inspections and risk assessments of the plant and address or escalate areas of concern and non-compliances.
- Manage the implementation of internal HSE procedures based on legal, company and other statutory requirements to ensure compliance. Support maintaining both, ISO 14001 and ISO45001 management systems
- Supervise security personnel and contractors on-site and act as the point of contact for security concerns.
- Fulfil the role of the Appointed Accident/incident investigator ; ladder inspector and Hand tool inspector and ensure that all incidents and areas of concern are addressed or escalated. Ensure that all WCA related documentation is completed accurately in conjunction with HR and submitted timeously.

**Qualifications**:

- Matric
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in a related HSE role
- Experience working in a factory environment necessary;
- Working knowledge and understanding of safety regulations, legal requirements and procedures;
- Experienced in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
