**Main purpose of the role**

**Essential responsibilities and duties**
- Conduct internal HSE measurements, inspections, and audits to analyse the site’s risks and bring solutions to improve the working conditions; the level of industrial safety; and respect for the environment.
- Propose and annual HSE action plan to the Site Management.
- Coach and support the plant management and deploy in HSE practices and requirements.
- Participate in Faurecia’s HSE network and deploy all HSE Standards within the organization.
- Monitor and ensure implementation of legal compliance and manage the site’s relations with local government and regulatory organizations.
- Monitor the reporting of HSE indicators (FR0t, environmental data, ).
- Organise and drive HSE audits and trainings.
- Perform accident/incident investigations.

**Qualifications and position requirements**
- Bachelor of Science Honours in Environmental Management.
- Knowledge and experience in auomotive environment.
- Knowledge of HSE tools and methods : AMDEC, 5 why methodology, job instruction, audits, ISO 14001, ISO 45001
- Knowledge of legal requirements.
- Competency in MS Office;(Excel & Word)
- South African citizen
