**Key Functions**:
The role holder must have the ability to manage the environment whilst monitoring the need for strategy change to ensure the company’s objectives are met.

The focus on people, profit, and objectives must be managed and well balanced to sustain an optimal and harmonious working environment.

To coordinate activities between divisions ensuring sales and profitability of the branch, ensuring high level company strategies are communicated throughout the branch and to all levels.

Manage and monitor Company certifications ISO, SHE.

The manager will be required to provide mentoring and coaching support to direct reports and be approachable, visible and open to new ideas and thoughts of the team.

The manager is expected to carry out regular weekly one to ones, team meetings with their teams and also carry out development conversations on a regular basis. The role holder is expected to focus on supporting their team on how to deliver the end results.

The role holder will be expected to use social media to promote the company’s brand in line with Company Policy.

The role holder will be a senior manager within the business and is expected to champion the Company’s core values, its people development strategy and where required support other departments such as HR as well as promote new initiatives throughout their teams and the wider business.

**Job functions**:
Direct report into the CEO.

Manage and supervise the allocated region.

Establish, maintain and enhance client relationships to resolve issues and retain profitable business.

Overseeing the smooth running of the Branch in its entirety.

Assisting and supporting of the dealers in the region from time to time.

Ensure sales company targets and budgeted growth is achieved.

Increases business growth by communicating and educating, identifying opportunities and removing barriers for sales staff. Develop and recommend sales plans and budgets.

Develop and maintain solid and long-term influential relationships with key decision makers at all levels in the assigned customer base.

Prepare forecasts. Understand and interpret customer supply chain, market share and ensure contract fulfillment to achieve or exceed budget.

Visits existing and potential customers together with Sales Managers when required.

Interacts and co-ordinates activities with Sales Managers and Sales Executives.

Control sales meetings, plans, organizes, implements sales programs for the allocated region.

Plans and is responsible for achieving sales objectives in the region.

Manage the recruiting, hiring and training of sales managers and sales executives.

Assists sales staff with increasing sales by developing and maintaining strong relationships.

Manage new & existing account growth/development.

Work closely with in-house Sales Administration department to keep account activities and invoicing up to date. Prepare reports of sales forecasts, sales analysis, and business transactions plus keep timely expense accounts.

Set and manage performance criteria, including pipeline, account penetration and activity levels.

Authorize quote prices and sales terms.

Actively participate in key capital equipment deals, strategy, execution, and building customer and external partner relationships.

Support current channel of sales distribution while keeping open to selective expansion in order to achieve the sales goals and objectives. Ability to collaborate with and direct the activities of the Region. Effectively interface and negotiate with third party suppliers.

Build personal credibility and manage customer networks and relationships at Directors’ levels.

Work closely with Sales Manager and Marketing to develop and present a professional solution to the customer and organize client days. Ensure that the company maintains profitability of its accounts.

Manage and maintain the CRM System.

Oversee the operation of the branch including but not limited to warehousing, technical, tele-sales, sales, sales order processing and administration.

Chair branch management meetings in order to resolve challenges, focus on market penetration, customer liaison, and manage the human resources of the branch along with the HR department.

Motivate and lead all divisions in the region.

Align the regions and support all TQM initiatives to ensure the branches maintain the required standards adhere to branch budgets.

General Management in all areas of the business for the allocated regions.

Communicate with the Directors to ensure the regions comply and align with overall company objectives and provide feedback to Head Office.

Grade 12 plus relevant tertiary degree will be an advantage (Minimum of Business Diploma in Sales along with Certified Sales Courses).

Finance, Admin, Management Certificates or courses will be an advantage.

Strong sales background, experience in operating and leading a diverse sales team on account management level.
